The preview did pretty much show us what was going to happen. The Holly twist was a nice surprise! I'm glad she stepped up, even though we haven't heard too much from her, in what seems like forever! When was the last time she was in a scene that wasn't her in the background? When Eugene was hanging out with her and Rosita? I get why she would want to get in the truck, but it seemed odd that she came out of nowhere in this issue and did that. Kirkman didn't really build that up. Whatever, I guess that is a part of war? Haha, it was still pretty awesome! I am glad it wasn't Rick that ended up driving the truck through the fence. I think Rick was right in explaining that Negan wouldn't have killed Rick, because Negan loves to fuck with Rick, but it still would have been a stupid move.
The panel of Gregory being kicked off the balcony made it look like he was falling to his death, but a few pages before we see the balcony from Rick's and his groups point of view and it doesn't seem to high up.
I know a lot of people here think Adlard's art has been dropping off (I disagree), but I must say it was great seeing some zombies again! The panel that shows the zombies chained to the fence looked awesome!!! We are only 2 issues into this All Out War story arc and they brought in the new guy to help with the art because of the "bi-weekly" issues, but I haven't noticed anything different which is great! I really disklike when comic series change artists a lot, or have a 2-issue arc with a special guest artist. That is why I love Walking Dead, same writer and same artist (for most of it).
