I'm not quite sure how you could even suspect this if you've read the comics, as the comics clearly state numerous times that Douglas is Spencer's father.........?Not sure if anyone mentioned this, Maybe Gregory is Spencers Dad!

well greg and doug are basically the same guy but doug actually had balls.
And was...y'know ,actually likeable. Out of all of the Alexandrians, he was and is easily my favorite.
(And unlike Gregory, Douglas wasnt a vain fucking prick.)
When he died, i was like....actually sad, because i REALLY liked Douglas.
If and when Gregory dies, i will not feel a fucking thing.

Joy
Imagine a group of a hundred motorcycles driving down a freeway. Eventually, they hit a junction. One road goes northwest and the other goes northeast. So one guy, we'll call him S, says, "Let's go northwest!" A mile past the intersection, a semi careens into the group and kills ninety of them. Ten are wounded, but they survive and keep going. Eventually, they hit 10,000 miles. S suddenly has his consciousness thrown into his past body right before the junction. Now, he says, "Let's go northeast!" All 100 bikers survive. Happily ever after, right? But what about the ten, no nine, who went northwest and survived? What happens to the reality they were living? Does it just disappear now that S has changed the past? It's not like only bad things happened on that 10,000 mile journey. Maybe one of them fell in love with a gas station attendant and got her pregnant or maybe one adopted a homeless kid that joined the adventure. That 10,000 mile journey would be full of stories. Romances, farewells, friendships...the loss of those ninety lives is horrible and unfortunate, but what would rewriting their history mean? The nine who survived lived full lives and did the best they could with the hand they were dealt. How could it be right to just erase all that? Isn't that worth something? Is there a point to a world where everything is happy? Are people who struggle for a better life just idiots? Being human is about fighting even when it seems hopeless and finding happiness in a world that hates it. Are you saying that's worthless?

If Negan did that he would completely loose the hilltop!
I think, with Gregory and 8 other people in Hilltop, he loose it already. Jesus have enormous authority in Hilltop, seriously. You have seen what happen, when Gregoty said his shit? Only few people respect him, but rest stay with Jesus. And i think people who stay at the Hilltop, completely doesnt know what happen. Doesnt know they must go with Negan, because they can lose their houses. When war comes to them, they will see Saviors only as aggressors. This shit with Gregory doesn't work at all, i think.

Really you actually liked Douglas? I thought he was a creep, I think hitting on a woman half your age, whìle you have a wife is vain. He punched heath for saying the wrong thing. The only thing I liked about him was when he talked about wanting to kill that abusive dad, but considering he let pete get away with it in HIS community, that's kind of moot.I wasn't rooting for his death preemptively like I do with greg, but I certainly hoped the zs would eat him so he'd stop firing that gun. It was great that he was willing to die to help but like all monroes in this story, even their selfless decisions go to hell. And was...y'know ,actually likeable. Okay....you got several points. He was a bit creepy at times. (Although to his credit, when Andrea said no, he got that. He didnt try anything after that. Spencer just kept on creepin. Doug had the manners to know ''NO'' means ''NO''. Gotta give him that.)
I guess i'am more aiming towards the first issues where Douglas was introduced. Here is an example.
He did always kinda seem like that ''kind grandpa'' one likes to hang around.
And another thing, whenever he was confronted, he could take some fucking truthful criticism. He didnt act all '' I MADE THIS ALL WORK. YOU DONT GET TO QUESTION ME, KUNG-FU-JESUUUUUUS. *RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE* ''
I'm actually surprised that's Jesus's reaction to what Gregory said. I was hoping he would do something like this.
And Douglad did respect his friends and fellow survivors.
Gregory just respects himself.
So...yes, they do have similarities, but all in all, if i had to choose who i would spend the day with, Douglas all the fucking way.

Hilarious points about greg. Doug had his good moments, and greg has none(except maybe giving the asz food before they killed negan) and id rather spend an afternoon with doug than greg, atleast doug doesn't follow ya around peeking at ya after you leave, but I'm not a fan of either.Okay....you got several points. Is the joke that Gregory over-exaggerates or lacks basic knowledge on insects? Has there ever even been a spider in the Walking Dead?
I think it's just to show how dumb Gregory really is, intelligence wise.

"Explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog. You understand it more, but you kill it in the process."Awww c'mon, they're even less funny when you explain them. 116 spoiler below:
I liked your other ones a lot, though. Funny stuff

Did Negan really think people were all going to say F this to Rick! I really don't think the Saviors sanctuary will fall to Rick. I also think Negan is going to have some other secret weapons to use again the ASZ.
I am hoping that Dwight will play a key role in taking down the Savior compound from the inside. Please Dwight, just start a huge fire and then get the heck out of there. Negan can't fight Rick&Co. on the outside and a huge fire on the inside. That would be a little anticlimactic though.

It's because Gregory doesn't know the difference between eight and a lot moreActually, I think it's showing how much of a coward he is.
