Good acting, no doubt about that.
However, thought it distracted from the Prison storyline somewhat and it dragged on.
I wish Morgan had gone back with them,
Spoiler

I suppose I am eager to see Rick and The Governor go at it...

My guess is that the writers wanted Morgan to go back because all the fans do. Hence why they did this episode however Lennie James is busy with something else :(

In and of itself, I thought it was a great episode, but I didn't like the way Morgan just kinda showed up and then just kinda disappeared.

Michonne's development was the high point of the episode for me.

Shield yourself from those not bound to you by steel, for they are the blind. Aid them when you can, but lose not sight of yourself.

I was wondering if someone could help me - I went back and watched Days Gone Bye and watched clear again as well... Rick returned to the same department as shown in season 1, right? I mean, in Clear, the inside is different (and more empty, really crappy set to be honest)). If it may be because they filmed in a different location, OK, fine but I was bored and decided to poke around at the little things :P

Anyway, help?

I really enjoyed this episode.

Again it showed just how used to the zombies they have become, and adept at handling them for the most part.

I felt sorry for the hitchhiker though.

My one question is just how close was the town from the prison and why they hadnt considered going there earlier? If they were surrounded by herds all winter, why are they not now?

Don't think Morgan will be coming back- this had more of the flavour of clearing up loose ends.

It also reminded me of the old MASH TV series, where every now and then they'd break off a couple of cast members and send them off on their own for an episode- keeps things fresh.

I really liked this episode, probably because I love Morgan. Lennie James did (yet again) another amazing job portraying him.
I also love how much Michonne has developed. A woman of few words, but great words at the same time. Her interaction with Rick and Carl was spot-on.
One thing that kinda bothered me in this ep, was the hitchiker. I felt so bad for the poor guy. I'm actually kinda hoping they do a webisode on him, just so we can see how he survived so long on his own....and what becaome of him in the end.

Rick: We're eating the man's food now?
Michonne: The mat said 'Welcome'

IBBEN is written several times on the walls of Morgans place. Any ideas as to what this means?

I found one image referring to your post...

IBBEN is written after "Firef?ll on Aberdeen", but below "Sick after blood cover..."

My guess is...
Morgan was probably in the military, stationed in Aberdeen, Scotland when his company was involved in a firefight.
Ibben is an old English name.

Could be while Morgan was sick, he remembered events from his time in the service. Ibben could have been someone Morgan was close to that died during the assault at Aberdeen; perhaps the blood reminds Morgan of his friend's death.

IBBEN could also have been the military codeword used for the operation, much like, "Operation Thunderbolt" or "Operation Bonn".

Aberdeen was also a codeword in WWII.

Either way, I think it relates to Morgan's military stint.

I see this happen occasionally in these review threads and I have asked myself the same question every time, but I have no idea why it happens. The best guess I can put forward is trolling, but who knows?
