Issue 130 Review

Something innocuous that came to mind today, with the assumption of people walking with//integrating with the zombie herd::

 

What if Magna unknowingly lied about not seeing people (living ones) - because if only by technicality, some of the undead following her group in her introduction were actually breathers in disguise.

 

Or an even bigger bombshell - what if some of the people from her 7-month-ago camp were part of the zombie disguise ruse - does she let the community kill them for what they apparently are, or try to save them for who they used to be?

Interesting theory. Could be part of the reason why she claimed "things got bad" or whatever.

i think the place was being to crowded....food was in shortage and it started to get really bad. It would happen. If something like this actually happened i would want to go south which sucks but there you can plant food much longer. However the winter would keep you safer. You could destroy the frozen walkers it's food would be a huge issue.

These ''cliffhangers'' are only ''cliffhangers'' because of separate issues.

 

In volume form, it's not meant to be read as a cliffhanger, that whole Negan-Magna scene. It's meant to be read in the '' turn to the next page'' way.  Because of separate issues, we see (initially) it differently.

 

In the volumes, the transistion is seamless and it doesnt looks like you just started reading the next issue, it just looks like you turned to the next page. It helps the pace.

 

Alot of people need to realise that is a very big reason as to why these ''cliffhangers'' exist.  

You may have a point. I was just saying that this is how it comes across- to me personally.

And again, I kinda agree. 

 

The only word I can think of is 'formulaic."  That's not quite accurate, but it's  the only way I can describe it. 

 

Was  Dwight's arrow poisoned? Will Rick die?

Will Magna free Negan, even though we've established that she has trust issues and is suspicious of strangers? 

 

No. She won't. 

 

Are the walkers in fact evolving, becoming able to communicate and organize, thereby making them a more formidable force? Tune in next week for the not-so-startling revelation! 

 

I might be exaggerating a little, but not by much. 

HER'S ANTHER COLORING

I dunno. You guys forget it was raining in the comic first time they did that in years!!! Yea so? So last time it rained Rick and glen had guts on them and it washed off the camaflouge I think that was a sign it's something else....not people in the herd...

i think it's humans, somehow in the herd. some new innovation that never occured to our survivors

To bad we probably won't know the answer for the whispers heard for a few more issues.
