The group encounters many obstacles in their quest to find stability and safety, but sometimes all they have to guide them is hope.

I was going to say that this was the longest hour I've ever spent watching tv, but Abraham showed up, so it was good.

Now THIS my idea of a great episode.  The aftermath of the prison assault and its effect on everyone was well played- finally. Abraham's entrance was awesome.

1. Since when did fire attract zombies

2. I realllllly don't like Lizzie and Mika. They've made every scene they've been in almost unbearable.

3. The best part of the episode for me was Maggie/Sasha/Bob

4. Go away Tara.

5. I missed it what happened to Glenn?

Anyway, overall, pretty disappointed with the episode. The quality was all over the place

Easily my least favorite episode of the season so far

Man. If the walkers went as easy on the main characters as they did to the rest of civilization, the entire apocalypse would be over before it even started. It's even more emphasized by the fact that the majority of the cast doesn't have sleeves...

Imagine a group of a hundred motorcycles driving down a freeway. Eventually, they hit a junction. One road goes northwest and the other goes northeast. So one guy, we'll call him S, says, "Let's go northwest!" A mile past the intersection, a semi careens into the group and kills ninety of them. Ten are wounded, but they survive and keep going. Eventually, they hit 10,000 miles. S suddenly has his consciousness thrown into his past body right before the junction. Now, he says, "Let's go northeast!" All 100 bikers survive. Happily ever after, right? But what about the ten, no nine, who went northwest and survived? What happens to the reality they were living? Does it just disappear now that S has changed the past? It's not like only bad things happened on that 10,000 mile journey. Maybe one of them fell in love with a gas station attendant and got her pregnant or maybe one adopted a homeless kid that joined the adventure. That 10,000 mile journey would be full of stories. Romances, farewells, friendships...the loss of those ninety lives is horrible and unfortunate, but what would rewriting their history mean? The nine who survived lived full lives and did the best they could with the hand they were dealt. How could it be right to just erase all that? Isn't that worth something? Is there a point to a world where everything is happy? Are people who struggle for a better life just idiots? Being human is about fighting even when it seems hopeless and finding happiness in a world that hates it. Are you saying that's worthless?

Walkers are attracted to NOISE. First, the car shattering, and then the crackling of the fire.

We've seen them be attracted to lesser things, such as tv static.

It's not that ridiculous of a concept.

For everyone being mad about fire attracting zombies....they did it in the season 2 finale when they caught the barn on fire. Remember rick told carl it should get more attention.

I'm going in order, so many thoughts. Wow.

1) Loved the 15 minute segments for each group
2) Beth got great screen time
3) I'm wondering if the guts that Daryll and Beth saw were the two no names that died infront of Tyreese? If not, who was it?
4) Judith and Carol!! I knew Judith was alive. I honestly thought the psychology killed Judith though
5) Safe haven (same thing we heard on radio?) Ty was in the car when they heard it and he saw the map.
6) How did the people on the bus die? Both doors were closed. Anyone notice the lady in the front of the bus had a bullet in the head?
7) Bob did a great job standing behind Sasha when they opened the door.
8) Bosha relationship?
9) loved the idea with Glenn, never imagined it would go like that.
10) Cool to see how Tara plays into all of this. I trust her.
11) Abraham.

(No formal review this time since my computer has been crashing a lot lately)

1. I know it's petty to complain about since every TV show does it, but I hate it when "Previously on..." segments indirectly spoil what's going to happen later in the episode. They did it with Clear by randomly showing Morgan and they did it with this by showing Morgan. Lost did it all time, too: "Remember this random event from three seasons ago. That definitely won't happen in this episode. We put it in for fun..."

2. Is Beth 14? Her monologues nearly made me blind from all the eye rolling

3. Those walkers on the bus decomposed pretty quickly

4. Why didn't Glenn leave the door open to let sunlight in while navigating the dark tunnel? Oh, it was because they wanted to do this horror movie-vibe with the camera

5. Why did the zombies stop chasing Glenn as he initially got past them with the riot gear? Oh, it was because the writers wanted to go to a commercial break there so they had to have the camera linger on Tara for a little as Glenn went through his dilemma

6. Why did Glenn assume Tara never fired upon the group because her gun was full of bullets? She could've had another clip or another gun she abandoned... Oh, it was because the writers wanted Glenn and Tara to be a group

7. The end with the trio was pretty cool but I wonder what it felt like for non-comic readers. It was action, trio introduction, roll credits

There were only 2 walkers going for Glenn/Tara when Glenn threw that alcohol bottle....

We've seen time and time again that Walkers have short attention span. For example, in the season 2 finale when we see the helicopter flying over Atlanta, there are Walkers eating Rick's horse. They literally stop in the middle of their meal to follow a helicopter that is thousands of feet above them.

I thought it was fabulous. I really was hoping Carol still had her car. I was so tense during their entire vignette. Mika isn't a very good actress, but she's so cute I can't stand it. Lizzie really is messed up. Sad about Lilly getting killed. I'm really surprised at "Terminus/Asz", isn't it waaaaay early?

My take on the bus- some of the people were still really sick so I assume someone died and turned quickly. Not sure about woman with gunshot in head- since Glenn got off the bus at the prison, maybe there's another survivor out there (whoever shot the woman)

In 4.08 we saw the Gov's crew shooting at the bus as it was pulling away. I think that some of the bullets hit people at the back of the bus, and that's how they turned.
