Who would you want to see from the comic who isn't there yet?
Who would you want to see from the comic who isn't there yet?
Abraham, I want to see Axel do more.. The Saviors, and Negan.
I will lift her love and I'll break your spirit. I will dig a hole and I'll throw you in it.
Only time will tell if we're all just cynics on the run... If we're all just cynics come undone.

I would like to see Morgan return.
Hunters, obviously. If the producers do that story correctly, it could be one of the scariest/darkest of the series. Maybe more than just you know who could fall victim to them, making them that much more of a threat.
I would love to see Olivia, Heath, Denise, Holly, Aaron and the gang come to life as well.

I'd also require that Rosita and Eugene both be brought in. Rosita obviously helps balance Abe, and it works better than if his wife Beth was still alive (as someone in this thread suggested would be a neat idea). Having any member of his family alive just diminishes the level of tragedy in his backstory. Him being the lone survivor out of all of them helped plant the seeds for both his and Rosita's characters. Eugene isn't necessarily as important as Rosita, but nonetheless, I'm aching to see him, both because he's a very intriguing charactter on his own and also because his confession to the group on the road (and Abe going beserk because of it) is one of my all-time favorite moments in the comics.
As far as others, the Hunters would be pretty cool to introduce as like a one-episode-off kinda thing. Despite the problems I had with the whole thing in the comic (poorly executed), I won't deny that it was wonderfully dark, and served as a fine send-off for Dale. Speaking of the latter, it'd be a sensible way for Hershel to go too I guess, seeing as how he's already absorbed most of Dale's material post-farm. I'd love to see Scott Wilson go batshit and scream the famous 'TAINTED MEAT' line
If and when they get to Alexandria, they'll definitely introduce Douglas. Whether they introduce Aaron or not and have him guide them to the community, I'm not sure. He really hasn't done much throughout his time in the comic, aside from just being one of the only gay guys. He's likable enough though, and obviously his character would put an end to the 'lack of any homosexuals' issue in the show, so I guess I'd lean more towards him appearing. People like Heath and Nicholas would be fun to introduce.as well; Heath especially, given his budding friendship with Glenn.

Abraham definitely needs to be introduced as a pivotal character. Kevin Durand could make for a good Abraham, I think... I'd like to see Rosita and Eugene, but only if the show will do more with them than the comics have thus far. I think they should probably have two or three other people with them, if just to be cannon-fodder.
Gabriel could also be interesting, under the same circumstances as Rosita and Eugene. Though I do fear that he could feel like a forced extension of Hershel.
I'd love to see the Hunters on tv. That whole arc--as small as it is--is what I felt was the comic's strong point. Picturing the gruesomeness of that arc--ugh, I need to see it televised, and possibly extended a wee bit. Michael Eklund and Joe Egender would make perfect cannibals.
I enjoy Aaron and Eric, but I'm not sure if their roles are all that necessary, or could even be improved upon without them either feeling like cannon-fodder or an obligatory gay couple.
Douglas should definitely be introduced, should the show even venture into the likes of Alexandria--which I certainly hope it does. Like Abraham, he should be a pretty central character. Having Spencer serve his comic role would probably only make tv fans hate Andrea even more. He'd need serious tweaks and need to feel more impactful. Regina isn't too necessary.
Pete, Jessie and Ron should be around for a bit, just for how much they advance Rick's character.
Heath should probably be a pretty prominent character. Scott is hardly needed.
Denise should only be there if the show will go the same route with Carl. Hell, if they really want, she could be an extra puppet for Abraham's group, instead of at Alexandria.
Holly could be a decent supporting character if she's given some more material. It'd be nice to have another tough female character on the show. At least, provided the writers don't ruin her.
Tobin, Bruce, Nicholas, Paula and Mikey really aren't needed, but it'd be nice to have a few minor Alexandria characters to recognize and see as sub-characters. But it'd be hard to view them as anything other than cannon-fodder for me. So long as the show sticks to Alexandria's established characters, as opposed to replacing them with new and insignificant characters, a la Woodbury.
Jesus would be a welcomed edition, but I don't think the Hilltop Colony story is too necessary The show could very easily introduce the Saviors without them.
Negan and Dwight could be great new threats.
Alternatively, you could also just call me Soiled_Panties, on account of how pissy I can be.

Rosita. Rosita has been growing on me so much in the comics (which is strange, since we haven't seen her in a while). But she's so cute and girly, but can also kick ass. We don't have any characters like her.
Aaron and Eric. Please, let's introduce gay characters on this show. We're here, we're queer, let's kick some zombie ass.
Heath because Glenn needs a buddy.
I would also LOVE to see Andrea on the show.

Can't say I'm too thrilled with this seasons original characters: Tim, Crowley, Shupert, Gargulio, Big Tiny, Haley, Rowan, the hermit... Oscar was okay. Tomas was a good one-time threat. Coleman was a decent one-off. I kind of like Milton. Sasha could prove alright.
I certainly won't object to new characters and plots, but if they're going to be there, it can't be just to have a few "unpredictable" scenes in an overall unchanged story. Beth needs to be a wildcard. Haley can't be just Lily. Sasha should be an established character on her own right, not "Tyreese's sister." Daryl and Merle's dynamic better change the whole course of the story. And the same applies to every original character and plot that the show introduces. Why bother with an original character if they're just a redshirt? Why bother with an original plot if the events of it will never be acknowledged again outside of the one episode in which it occurs?
