Having read 104 I am starting to feel that Dwight is gonna be a character that Kirkman focuses on quite often. I particularly like that now in TWD that there is a struggle of the oppressed and the powerful; we can see strong characters fighting for both sides.
Spoiler

Either way, I am really looking forward to Dwight's characterization as well as most of the Savior's camp.

I don't think he was offended by the throwing wood but the insinuation that negan would be pleased by his death.

I agree more with Kneelbeforegod here. I do agree with you OP that Kirkman has seemed to be following Dwight around quite a bit and I think his character might eventually play into the eventual overthrowing and/or death of Negan. Can you imagine one or more of the Saviours just growing tired of his shit and forming a rebellion with Rick?

I think you've got some great thoughts in there, but I have a hard time thinking that Kirkman would limit commentary on a social norm, especially something as universal as love, to one character and the effects of his actions. Plus, Cupid's arrows create love, and Dwight's killed a man, so, if anything, Dwight symbolizes an anti-Cupid creature. It's an interesting insight, but I still think Dwight is just a commonly shown associate of a main villain, like the pudgy fellow from Woodbury whose name I can't remember.

yeah i bet he could morph into a twisted version of Daryl
regardless i dont see the end of the governor anytime soon... he has a fortified place plus more than 100 men + Carl
I doubt Rick can face it without a good strategy
if Rick survives this.. he will become the king of the hill

I honestly don't think Daryl Dixon is going to ever make an appearance in the comics. Kirkman may be a troll, but I don't think he'd pander that much to fanboys and fangirls of the TV show just to make more sales by having Daryl...though he did all throw us off with the cover of issue 102 didn't he. Could also be famous last words. Haha.
